Washington State Pre-Booming



Effective October 26, 2007; the State of Washington's Department of Ecology will implement new pre-booming regulations for all oil-transfers over water. Our delivery company, Olympic Tug and Barge, has contracted with NRC Environmental Services to perform the actual pre-booming.

We plan to pass through the pre-booming cost as a line item on our invoices according to the following schedule:

Pre-booming cost per transfer:

Port Angeles $1,261
Anacortes $1,524
Everett $1,524
Seattle $1,119
Tacoma $1,119
Kalama $1,588
Longview $1,588
Vancouver $1,588


Cancellation charges: Customer shall have up to 8 hours following call-out notice to cancel without charge at Port Angles and 6 hours at all other ports/places. Cancellation charges are otherwise applicable only the Contractor has actually mobilized equipment and/or personnel for performance.

Anacortes, Everett and Columbia River: $650
All other Washington ports: $600
