Due to increased operational costs in the Houston area, bunker barge operators will be increasing the “Barge Fuel Surcharge” for all barge deliveries. Effective for all Chemoil barge deliveries May 12 , 2008 or later a “Barge Fuel Surcharge” of 38% will apply to all barge delivery rates. This is an increase from the current “Barge Fuel Surcharge” of 30%.
